Seeing Classic Indigenous Cultures in the Capital: Joint Exhibition of Boutique Collections of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples
In order to present cultural beauty of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples, as well as promoting cultural sightseeing spots, the KCC holds an exhibition of traditional and classical arts and crafts of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples that contain unique and representative features in Ketagalan Culture Center. These collections are provided by museums in Northern Taiwan, which preserve relevant and essential crafts of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples, such as National Taiwan Museum, Institute of Ethnology Museum of Academia Sinica, Museum of Anthropology of Department of Anthropology of National Taiwan University, Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines, and Beitou Museum. Not only shall these items of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples express cultural connotations and historical contexts to the public, but also shall they reveal the uniqueness and importance of Indigenous Peoples in historical evolution of Taiwan.
