Little Bunun Arts Exhibition
“WU NI Nang, Bunun children say hello to everyone!” The present arts exhibition will be hold at the Ketagalan Culture Center from Oct. 26th, 2012 (Friday) to March 31st, 2013.
The exhibition covers approximately 400 pieces of work of Taitung County Guang Yuan Elementary School students. People with big white teeth in the painting is the feature of Bunun Tribe, and the color of costume and background represent their culture and daily life. This elementary school is located in Haiduan Township, Taitung County. 90% of students are Bunun people. Be inspired by the arts and literature program, seven students won two metal and five stunning performance at the Chinese and Korean International Children and Youth Arts Exhibition. The natural and simple study environment helps to preserve their nature. They are then able to demonstrate the purest life experience with their inborn talents.
Indigenous modern arts have been highly promoted by the KCC, Indigenous Peoples Commission of Taipei City Government. The theme of this year is “Nature” and “Pure”, and the present exhibition is divided into two parts, including 14 pieces of creative painting and graphic and three-dimensional design.
